Barlean's Unveils Revolutionary Omega-3

FERNDALE, WA, June 2008 – Barlean’s, the leading manufacturer of Omega-3 supplements, has launched a revolutionary new line of Omega-3 oils called Omega Swirl that have the sweet, creamy taste and texture of a fruit smoothie.

Touted as “An Omega-3 Sensation” this product is unlike any other on the market. Barlean’s uses proprietary technology to emulsify both their world-renowned, 100% organic flax oil and ultra-purified, pharmaceutical grade Fresh Catch™ fish oil, creating a whole new Omega-3 experience.

Omega Swirl is rich in vital and essential Omega-3 fatty acids without the oily taste and texture or swallowing large capsules. “It’s an unbelievably delicious healthy dessert that’s a perfect Omega-3 solution for the whole family,” says Barlean’s Owner Bruce Barlean. “We launched this just a few weeks ago and we’re already having a hard time keeping up with demand” he added.

The Omega Swirl flax oil supplement is strawberry-banana flavored and the Omega Swirl fish oil supplement comes in tangy and refreshing lemon zest. Both are made with only all-natural flavors and colors and naturally sweetened with Xylitol.

Each SKU is now available in 16 oz. bottles, and an 8 oz. children’s fish oil product will be launched later this month.
