My dr has been wanting me to be on an Omega 3/6 for a while. Ive never liked the taste of fish oil so Ill be darned if i was gonna swallow that for my health. Ive been looking for an actual GOOD tasting omega 3/6 for years. I didnt think any existed. I was really close to trying out Mary Ruths omega 3/6/7/9 gummies as i do use 2 diff products from them, however the only thing that stopped me was that they sweeten their omega w/ erythitol and i absolutely cannot have that as it causes me mega bad stomach aches.
Like many are reading, I too searched amazon, YouTube reviews, and other sites on the quest for an actual good tasting omega. It was through amazon reviews that led me to Barleans to where i decided to purchase their strawberry banana omega 3 vegan and their strawberry milkshake vitamin d3. (I already take a d3 thru Mary Ruths (which is 1,000 iu a day. Barleans is 5000 iu daily.) If I like the results i get from Barleans more, Ill cancel Mary Ruths.
My order arrived today and I have thank Barleans for including a free sample of the Total Omega Blueberry Pom flavor. As much as i wanted to open up my btl, i decided to try the sample first. WHOA! Oh my God - this stuff really IS delicious! Im not even a huge fan of pomegranate flavored stuff as it can be a dominating flavor, as is blueberry sometimesbut this flavor really is GOOD! I have no doubt that it would be great in yogurt, over pancakes, a smoothie, oatmeal, protein shake, etc. Its really good. I was really surprised. I did the fingertip taste test before licking my spoon clean. Its fruity and Id say i taste more of the blueberry then i do the Pom but its good. Now I want to buy this flavor and buy some plain vanilla yogurt and just mix it in lol.
I cant wait to taste my strawberry banana one and maybe i will eventually try one of their non-vegan formulas too. But i think its safe to say that I have finally found a GREAT tasting omega 3/6 and now my dr will be happy and i will reap the benefits too.
