    Do you sell vegan products?

    Barlean’s has many different vegan options that are perfect for those on a vegan diet. Our award-winning flax oil is vegan as well as a number of our Seriously Delicious products, milled flax seeds and other select vegan oils. We also now make Omega-3 supplements with algae oil, a vegan source of EPA/DHA. Note: Our softgels are made from bovine and are not vegan.

    Are your products Organic?

    A number of Barlean's products are organic and we provide the USDA Certified Organic symbol on the label of those products. All products are herbicide and pesticide free and manufactured without using solvents.

    Are your products non-GMO?

    The majority of our products are naturally non-GMO. Many have been verified by the Non-GMO Project. Their logo can be found on the labels of the products that have been verified through their organization. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team.

    Where are your ingredients sourced from?

    All Barlean’s products are made with the highest quality ingredients; we use American-grown flaxseed and we get our fish sustainably off the coast of South America and the coast of Alaska.

    What allergens are present in Barlean's products?

    We use FDA-compliant allergen labeling and are a dairy-free facility. We always recommend you speak to your health care provider if you have a known allergen to make sure a product is right for you.

    Do your products need to be refrigerated before opening?

    All Barlean’s products are induction sealed so no oxygenation can occur. Therefore, they are shelf stable until opened as long as the product doesn’t sit in high heat for a prolonged period of time. You should, however, refrigerate our liquid supplements after opening.

    Great in Coffee

    This stuff is tasty, very chocolatey without being overly sweet. I've added it to my morning coffee to make it like a mocha coffee and its great. I do find that it mixes better with hot ingredients rather than cold. If I mix it with cold almond milk or in a smoothie I have to use a shaker or my blender to get it to mix well because simply stirring with a spoon doesn't mix it as well. But, it is tastier than expected will definitely buy again!
