PRODUCT EDUCATOR, CUSTOMER SERVICE DIRECTOR

I lead our CS team day-to-day while also creating the training and education that helps our internal staff, customers, retailers, and health professionals truly understand our products.

I'm responsible for leading our Customer Service call center, and I'm the go-to communicator for all things Barlean's education - making sure our team, customers, and partners always have clear, accurate answers about our products.

I love breaking down complex health science into simple, bite-sized concepts people can actually understand, and inspiring our customer service reps to be their best selves - because when they're at their best, they give their best to our customers.

I've worked at Barlean's head office for 11 years, but my roots go back further - 12 years selling Barlean's products in Canada before joining the team. That's a 23 year connection with this company, so as you can tell, I'm a true fan!

FUN FACT: I'm a mom of five, including twins - and cooking delicious (and bonus, healthy!) food is my happy place. I recently prepared a gourmet feast from scratch for 120 guests at my daughter's wedding, and it was pure bliss!

IT MANAGER, ERP SYSTEM ADMIN

My goal is to support all other departments' tech needs, both in the day-to-day as well as long term planning and project management. 

I am responsible for the management and improvement of our ERP system, as well as making sure we don't fall "behind the times" in the tech-heavy world we do business in.  

I enjoy the variable challenges every day. No problem is ever quite the same in tech, and it keeps things fresh and interesting. 

I came to Barlean's in early 2025 after running my own small IT company, consulting and contracting for other small-medium sized business around Whatcom county. I was fairly burned out after years of doing my own thing, and the prospect of working with a team again, in a great family-owned local business was too much to pass up. 

FUN FACT: My wife and I have 7 kids. That's 9 people in the house + 29 animals/pets. It's a bit of a circus, but we love it! 

SALES ADMIN, BULK, PRIVATE LABEL & INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

As the Sales Admin, I’m responsible for managing our independent sales reps, tracking sales, organizing account files, and many other tasks. As the Bulk, Private Label & International Account Specialist, I handle day-to-day such as order entry, tracking orders through the production process, scheduling freight, creating invoices, etc.

I love that every day is different (who you talk to, the problems to solve, etc.). Plus, I love organizing files and data!

I’ve been with Barlean’s since January 2020. My husband, who also works at Barlean’s, told me to apply when he heard there was an opening in Customer Service, so I did and the rest is history.

FUN FACT: I love to buy crafting kits (like diamond painting or mosaic kits) but rarely complete them. Puzzles too!

Executive Assistant to the Owner and CEO

I think of myself as a stagehand, one of the people in all black who runs out between scenes, resets the set, and disappears before the lights come up. 

I'm responsible for supporting the CEO day-to-day, running our LinkedIn presence, and planning company events. Mostly I bring order to chaos, and occasionally I create a small amount of chaos in service of a better outcome.

 I enjoy the gatherings. Planning events, getting people out from behind their desks and into the same room for a minute. Work gets a lot more human when you know what everyone is actually like.

I've been with Barlean's since March 2022. I spent twelve years in the wellness world before this, including owning a yoga studio here in Bellingham, so a family-owned company making products I actually believe in felt like the obvious place to land.

FUN FACT: Outside of Barlean's, my husband and I run sober living homes i Bellingham, which keeps life interesting! We're also big on live music and travel, and between trips we answer to an eleven pound chihuahua-mix named Slash.

Director of Operations

I basically walk around and talk to people, help connect Operations with the rest of the company. Ensure we are all aligned with common goals.  

I ensure that we are following all our process and quality standards, are properly staffed, and meet all internal and external demand. 

I enjoy the "nuts n bolts" of actually manufacturing a product. Creating a standard process and continuing to find a better way with the team.  

I've been with Barleans for 20+ years, was a referral from my uncle who worked here. 

FUN FACT: I enjoy anything outdoors;
archery, hunting, fishing, hiking & camping. 

Director of Ecommerce

I oversee our ecommerce platforms and help ensure they operate effectively to support business growth.

My primary responsibility is managing our Amazon business and ensuring its continued success and performance.

I enjoy growing sales and finding opportunities to expand the business through ecommerce channels.

I have been with the company for 14 years. I joined because I heard it was a great place to work, and it was conveniently located just one mile from my home.

FUN FACT: One fun fact about me is that I am a writer and enjoy expressing creativity through writing.
